Over the years, she has had the privilege of competing with her Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers, earning a total of more than 5000 AKC Obedience Trial Championship points on five of her dogs who earned the prestigious American Kennel Club (AKC) Obedience Trial Champion (OTCH) title. Kori’s most meaningful accomplishments have come through her work at the AKC National Obedience Championship (NOC)—one of the most esteemed events in obedience competition. Kori has been invited to compete at the NOC 20 times, a recognition given to only the top trainers in the country. In 2017, Kori became the youngest person ever to win the NOC with her Labrador Retriever, “Cedar.” This victory was a turning point in her career, not only for the title but for the personal connection and teamwork it represented.
