August 26, 2011 - Tails Up at the Minnesota State Fair

Are you going to the fair?  Stop by and visit us just outside The Pet Center. 
Tails Up instructors and students will be doing several demonstrations during the day on Friday, August 26th.  Come and see what we can offer you and your dog.  Current students - sign up at the front desk to participate and show off what your dog can do!

February 20, 2011 - Annual Tails Up Awards Celebration
Current students, come join us for a potluck lunch on Sunday, February 20th to celebrate your achievements in 2010.  Lunch will start at 12pm, sign up at Tails Up to bring a dish to share.  After lunch, your dog can join in the fun with some new games, as well as old favorites.  We'll also recognize those students who achieved competition titles in 2010 - don't forget to turn in your awards form at Tails Up.

December 4-5, 2010 - National Obedience Invitational in Long Beach, CA
Tails Up owner Lois Ornat & instructor Kori Bevis will compete against the top obedience dogs in the country on December 4-5 in Long Beach, California at the AKC National Obedience Invitational (NOI). The top 25 dogs are invited to the NOI based on Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH) points earned from July 1st, 2009 through June 30th, 2010. In addition, the top three dogs of each breed ranked by OTCH points will also be invited.

This year’s competition is the eighth consecutive year the AKC National Obedience
Invitational will be held in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.  Visit http://www.akc.org/aenc/ for more information.

The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship airs on ABC Television Network on January 23, 2011. Check your local listings for air times.

October 21,2010 - Congratulations, Kristy & Jovi CGC!

Tails Up would like to congratulate Kristy & Jovi on obtaining their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification on 10/21/10. Jovi was a very scared Border Collie/Greyhound who has really come out of her shell!

Tails Up offers CGC Preperatory classes & tests approximately twice each year.  Keep watching here for the next class & test date!

September 12, 2010 - Burnsville Fire Muster Parade
For the first time, Tails Up students & their dogs will strut their stuff in the Burnsville Fire Muster Parade.  The Parade begins at 1:00 PM at the intersection of Parkwood and 130th Street, and ends at the Burnsville Civic Center.  Current students, sign up at the front desk to participate!
